Over the next few weeks, I'm going to expect to see updates to the iWorks and iLife sweets. Bug patches in the like. Over all I really like where they're going with this. Just put some footage of our choir anniversary together with clips taken from the iPad and the Kodak Playfull in iMovie. It was actually smoother than Final Cut Pro X, but then again it was only cutting and doing some transitions and titles.

Finishing up a new book. But after upgrading to Apple Pages for OS X Mavericks I gotta admit, Apple is killing 'em with this stuff. Nicer interfaces and overall improved workflow. I'm enjoying this so far!

Found this post on my "Wages of Sin" movie this morning: "That is not Michael Jai White! I guess you think ALL BLACKS look alike. How STUPID!" Only on Youtube could this argument happen. Let's be real. When I made Epitaph: Bread and Salt I thought it was going to be a pretty cool film, but this is crazy. Remember the dude that was uploading the movie to his account? He dropped me a letter telling me I had to show him a certificate to prove I own the film made by my company on my company's Youtube account. As if he doesn't know he didn't make it. So I'll just have Youtube keep shutting down his accounts.

Just fought Rickter (Dragan Nikolic's character) Maacah (Yvonne Nieves character). Now I gotta catch my breath and actually sit down and write the scenes. The fun part of writing a fight scene comes before you write it, LOL.

It is important to bring your work out as soon as you can. As some of you know much of the Epitaph universe is based around the idea Mary Shelly's Frankenstein was a biography, and not a work of fiction, Dr. Frank Stein who heads up Frank Stein Industries is actually Dr. Eric Frankenstein, continuing the Frankenstein legacy.
BUT the reason I bring this up is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxOSPfUw3qw this story is also based on the same concept. To see this drop AFTER "Epitaph: Bread and Salt" is a big win for me. Blade started promoting literally days after I started editing my "Locke the Demon Hunter" novel (Black guy with a sword doing martial arts hunting vampires and demons which is why I changed his weaponry) the irony being Locke is now a comic book character and Blade started from a comic.
Rogue angels invading earth (seen here in Legionhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mJEq85d1R8 ) was also a concept I was kicking around, but what freaked me out is the line "I don't believe in God" and the retort is "He probably doesn't believe in you either" My line was "I don't believe in God and the other character's line was, "But He believes in you." Nicer, but not nearly as bad ass. LOL. Then again in my flick the line was supposed to push the hero into action.
My point is, if you have an idea you're excited about jump on it right away, because someone has that same idea somewhere.

Morning's already off to a crazy start. Someone on Youtube has uploaded Epitaph: Bread and Salt to their account. They had over 4000 views themselves. I had to file my own copyright claim today. Crazy. Them fools on Youtube are wildin' out! Thanks to Lee B Golden over at Film Combat Syndicate for pointing this out to us. You do not make huge amount of money being a Youtube producer, but you can indeed do well with enough good content. So when someone steals your content it's more than annoying.
